DONE DEAL: Leicester City sign James Justin

Leicester City have confirmed the signing of James Justin from Luton Town, making him the first of a few arrivals expected this summer.

The fee, although undisclosed, is understood to be £6 million (plus add-ons), which, for a highly-rated 21-year old, is not too much in today’s market.
Especially for a versatile player like Justin, who can play as a left-back, a right-back and a wide midfielder. We could well have another Ben Chilwell at our disposal.
“I’m over the moon. I feel like I’m ready for this moment. I hope to bring a lot of energy and commitment to the badge.
“The manager is great with the younger players and developing them through their careers. Everyone speaks very highly of him and I hope he can help me too.“
Justin made 52 appearances for the Hatters last season, assisting an impressive nine goals and scoring three as well, and in the process, helping his side gain promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
He was also rewarded with a place in League One’s team of the year, which further confirms that Leicester have signed a really talented player, not just any other player who you normally call upon in a – with all due respect – Carabao Cup game.
It will be interesting to see who Leicester go for next. The expectation is that they will fully focus on AS Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans now, who has been their main target right from the start of the transfer window.
A number of reliable reports have claimed that Leicester are still leading the race for the Belgian, so there is belief that even if late in July or early August, the deal will be concluded and Tielemans will be playing at the King Power Stadium next season.
